(this page is for students who entered the major before the Fall of 2025)
Students who started the major prior to the fall of 2025 can get credit toward the major by participating in Psychology research labs in up to three different ways:
-
A research lab can count as a “Specialized” Course (i.e., PSY 395, or PSY 390 prior to the Fall of 2026).
**can only be counted once for PSY majors and minors
-
A research lab can count as a “Psychology Elective” course (i.e., PSY 395, or PSY 390 prior to the Fall of 2026).
-
A research lab can count as a “Psychology Capstone” course (i.e., PSY 492).
In all of these cases, participation in a lab is by instructor permission only. Fill out a form to apply to one or more labs.
