- Work to educate campus on trauma informed care, resources, and training
- Assist with understanding all support and reporting options available

- Facilitate Peer2Peer support groups and racial trauma workshops
- Available to respond and help with traumatic crisis events on campus

- CCS generally have 3-4 internship positions for Fall/Spring.
- Must receive the student’s application to become an intern prior to our internal peer support scheduling, which is the end of June/December.
- Once you submit your application, they will review, meet with the student, and then access scheduling/intern outcomes in August/January.
- Essential Job Functions:
- Interns must display interest in working with peers who have intellectual disabilities in the academics, vocational, and/or campus life/residential pursuits.
- CSS looks for students who are respectful to differences, can adapt a peer/peer modeling relationship and are open to training/direction.
- Requires a high level of patience, flexibility, responsibility, and commitment.
- All interns must attend the CCS mentor orientation to learn about the program philosophies and student needs.
