In the Attitudes and Social Cognition (ASC) Lab, we study the ways in which our attitudes and beliefs affect the way we think about our social world. We are interested primarily in ideological and religious motives, and how these motives affect the processing of social information. In addition to these general questions, we also investigate how people think about their existence and create meaningful relations.
